Where are you? How can we find you? We cannot move forward without you. It’s like a needle in a haystack – looking for the perfect match. Is there any hope? We have nothing, no money – just a desire to make a difference and a desire to provide a faith based quality education to meet the needs of young children. Desire with no money seems impossible. But we continue to look for people who see our vision and want to help.
Sometimes you win some, sometimes you lose some. We don’t want to accept defeat. Somehow we continue to hope and don’t give up looking. So wherefore art thou building of ours? Even raising funds depends on your existence dear building of ours. So where are you?
I look around and see lots of empty buildings in Clarksville, our first choice in a location for our program. Some of these buildings have been sitting empty for years. They are very expensive, way beyond what we can afford. Is there no one who would allow a non-profit use of their building for a minimal fee? It appears there is none – no one – notta. We would also be willing to connect with a current program if they have space available as long as we can maintain our name and our identity.
So I write this seeking your help. If you are aware of any building that has space for a minimal cost that might work for us, please contact me. What we are looking for: space that could be used for a classroom that would accommodate about 15 children. It would need to be safe and allow us to make adjustments to meet requirements. We would need restrooms and an area for outdoor play. Parking should be available.
Once we find a space, we will begin fundraising to meet the costs of the building. Or if you know of a person willing to join our team that is willing to raise funds for our cause, please give me their name and number.
We search for a building. We search for someone who cares about children, who cares about education, who cares about the community, who cares about non-profits, who cares about making a difference – someone who cares.
Wherefore art thou building of ours? Wherefore art thou needle in the haystack? Lord, show us the way and the light.
